I have a thing for vintage trunks. I have a huge one to keep our wellies in, it sits under the spiral staircase. I have a set of 4 leather ones for holding summer and winter clothes when not in use. When you live in a cottage storage space is rare so trunks are the answer.
Now if I lived in the US I would be sorely tempted to purchase all of these from Mothology.
