I love simple yet useful design. Good Hood based in London is a beautfully curated shop full to the gunnels with superb quality, simple items for the home and for wearing. I am extremely chuffed that they do a black potato peeler. I am so easily pleased. Oh and incidentally the prices are very reasonable.

When The West Wind Doth Blow.........

 I know we're having an Indian Summer but there is no denying - Winter Is Coming. When I step outside my cottage on a crisp Winter's day the wind chill can feel like it's cutting you in two.

I have a full length Barbour Coat but from day one it has smelled of wax. It just never goes away.

Well I am officially sick of it and have found this little beauty at The Shop Floor Project. It's waxed just like my Barbour.

What's not to like here? Envelope is a Japanese website choc full of gorgeous clothes, accessories and stuff for the home. They ship worldwide which in this day and age is not rocket science. Do you knw I think I may be ordering from this gem of a website.

How cute are these huge Teddy Bears? All made from old shirts. Mrs Jermyn AKA Annika Jermyn is originally from Finland, studied design in Ireland, and is now happily based in Brooklyn, New York. In addition she creates part painted iPad covers and clutch bags. Genius!
