An Acceptable Post It Note

I HATE Post It Notes but this is acceptable. Having little notes around in the shape of leaves doesn't seem to jar with me. Available at the V&A website

Feelings That Don't Last

I woke up this morning feeling just like this and finished the day not feeling anything at all. How did that happen? Love these notebooks by Katie Blair at Etsy

T.ruffle Girls

One of my favourite blogs - it always makes me laugh out loud - is Mackin Ink and said author has opened an Etsy shop - T.ruffles with her friend Mary Ruffle. Words by Mackin Ink photographs by Mary Ruffle.
In their words - this trio of four by six delights sits prettily on velvet matte cardstock. accompanied by three envelopes all in white.
Love them.

Perpetual Paris

Sometimes the simplest of ideas are the best. Take a camera around Paris, photograph various letters and numbers, come home, make them into cards, obtain some transparent clips and you have a Perpetual Calendar of Paris. How clever is that?
Watch the video of how it was done on their site.

There's Cards Then There's Anzu Cards
The lovely Ellen of Anzu sent me a fantastic selection of cards recently and I just had to show you them.

I can't take the credit for these pictures, it's so hard to photograph Patent Cards and do them justice - they are fabulous, as are

the handpainted ones,

the cut out ones and

the fashion ones. I am hooked on Anzu Cards

Little French Notebooks

These beautiful notebooks covered in vintage monogrammed linens were available at La Boutique de Baucis et Philelmon Just as I was going to lead you to them they all seem to have been sold but do not despair as I am sure there will be more to come. They were an astonishing 18 Euros each - a snip. Save this site to your favourites and keep your eyes peeled for new additions.

Carte Postale

I have a memory like a sieve so when birthdays come around I either forget them or remember at the last minute and end up with a less than inspiring card. Now if I could get these locally I would be one happy woman. Even the envelope is to die for.
French of course by Pauline Franque at La Marelle

That Human Touch

Dom Trapp a designer from Nice in the South of France (lucky him) invited me to be linked with him at Linkedin the other day. Off I went to take a look at his profile and found his company Human Touch and am I pleased I did. Look at those gorgeous Boo Sketch Books - I want a shelf full.
Now for the Quad - Quad is a modular and decorative storage system. It evolves with your needs and changes shape according to your wishes.
A bookcase, a night table, a stool, a column of bathroom storage, a coffee table... The Quad fits together to suit your needs.
You can easily change the composition, add or remove blocks at any time, without tools.
Each piece comes from a single sheet of metal cut, folded with precision and lacquered in the oven.
Quad is designed in the preservation of Nature and Natural Resources. Quad is made of steel a 100% recyclable material. Quad is designed to be durable and multifunctional.
Dom wrote that for me - bless him.
