​ Sunday Evening Aperitif at Hotel Diderot

Sitting here on the terrace of the Hotel Diderot in Chinon having a Pastis before I walk into town for a meal. Pure bliss. It promises to be sunny for the rest of my stay. What more could I ask for? There's even a cast iron spiral staircase to make me feel right at home.I have an awful lot to tell you about this fabulous hotel but let's save that for later.

I have no idea why there's a British telephone box here but hey whatever floats your boat.
