One of my favourite sights in London is the Ship Weather Vane that sits atop Liberty.
So I suppose it was no surprise that I was drawn to these kites available from The Shop Floor Project.
Very patriotic colours that look as good in the sky as they do in the home.

Zatchels at Liberty
At the risk of sounding ancient, satchels weren't like this when I went to school, the choice was brown, brown or brown. Zatchels at Liberty

Winter Warmers at Liberty

It's bloody freezing here so I could do with each and every one of these items from Liberty's Winter Warmers Collection.

It's The Scarf Instructor Again
I love this French girl who works in the scarf department of Liberty. I showed another video of her showing how to tie scarves not long ago. Now she shows how to tie a flower into a scarf for your head but I think it could look just as good around your neck or waist. I have tried it and it's a doddle.

Northumberland Goes To London - RE at Liberty

I was invited by Liberty to attend the launch of their new Dining Room and the announcement of the RE Satellite Store in their famous London shop. For personal reasons I could not attend but those lovely people sent me a gorgeous Goodie Bag (a Liberty Goodie Bag, no less). Before I go any further let me say that the people at Liberty are some the friendliest people I have ever come in contact with. Liberty seems a fun place to work if their attitude is anything to go by. I digress.

If you have never heard of RE then you must have been living under a rock. RE is situated not far from my home in Northumberland so I have the huge advantage of going there whenever the fancy takes me. Simon & Jenny, the owners, have turned this old workshop into an Aladdin's cave and now they are taking their magic to Liberty in London. On 6th April you Southerners can get a taste of RE and you will not be disappointed believe me.

Off To London Again

On Sunday we leave for London but on Saturday we are attending

our grand daughter Marcie's 3rd birthday party. That's her on the left with her brother Sonny and sister Georgia (the singer). She does that smile on every photo.

Off to deliver more Ghost Furniture. This time 6 commisioned chairs and a cabinet for a customer who lives in the Congestion Zone but it's free on a Sunday - hooray. I can't show you the chairs as the customer hasn't even seen them yet but they are FAB!

I HAVE to go to Anthropologie and

Liberty. This time I mean it - there are things in particular I need but the highlight of the trip is that

I am spending time and dining out with my collaborator. I am almost ready to reveal who it is but not just yet. It's killing me more than you because I am dying to tell who it is and just what we have been doing.
Will try and take some pics and do some posts whilst I am away. Farewell.

My Christmas List - Liberty

My all time favourite shop in the whole wide world, Liberty is the one that does it for me so I want all these items and especially the leather jacket. If you want a real taste of Liberty this Christmas go and see Tara's stunning photographs over at Paris Parfait. She makes you feel as though you are standing looking in the windows yourself.

Using a Liberty Print to Best Effect

Ah don't they do it well? Liberty have used one of their prints through a vast range of products and I LOVE it. Go to Liberty of London for more.
