 Notes From Richelieu

Richelieu
The Newly Renovated Covered Market
The Loire Valley's answer to Manhattan - Richelieu. This town is built on a simple grid system. Great for me 'cos it's hard to get lost.
A square sits at the centre with a recently renovated covered market and every road that leads to it has an arched entrance and stunning landscaping. Beautifully designed and executed.
Very tall, grand buildings keep the sun off the streets so it maybe wasn't a good idea to visit early on an autumn morning. It was chilly to say the least.
