Icicles - But a Memory

icicles in Donkleywood
Our Icicles
I have been looking at these icicles for what seems like an age now but this morning I sat at my computer, next to the window and saw a drip drip in front of me. I screamed at Harvey to go and photograph them. See, You Don't Know What You Got 'Till It's Gone as Joni Mitchell once sang.

It seems Europe has really been in the grip of winter. My mom said Germany has been hit pretty good as well. Stay warm!

I am glad about every inch of snow, love the winter wonderland and just turned the heat on a bit more and one more sweater.
But not sure if I dare to drive up the hill this afternoon to take my son to Italian school and go shopping for my sister... although in Germany winter tires are requested, driving up and downhill (in Stuttgart) in these days can be a challenge although they spread salt on the streets.

Nut icicles we do not have like you. My son collects them and we have them up side down in the snow on the balcony...

Well we haven't seen any icicles, although we've certainly seen the snow. But it finally started to melt today. Hooray! Hope yours follows soon. xo
