Another French Discovery - Depot Vente

Depot Vente
Depot Vente

This is a second-hand store in Paris. Now I don't know about you but here in the UK our second-hand stores don't look like this. I picked up this gorgeous coffee pot in one of these stores. They are called Depot Vente and are situated in most towns. It's where the locals send the stuff they don't want anymore and the stores sells it for them for a commission. Couldn't be simpler!

These places are vast warehouses full of everything for the home and garden and I just wish I had taken a larger vehicle with me as I could have brought back some amazing furniture which would have cost me an arm and a leg over here.

Emmaus is good, but the depot vente is better. Though Emmaus is so cheap it is shocking!
