This Is Camping But Not As We Know It

Feather Down Farm
Now if there is one thing I came to hate as I grew up and it was camping. Me, tents, no electricity, English weather - bad news.
Yesterday I was visiting Isabella Oliver's blog and saw this. Now this is camping for me - Feather Down Farm. Look at those interiors, so romantic. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to do my hair without a hairdryer and hot brush.
Feather Down Farm
How comfortable do these look?

What a lovely way to cook and keep warm

So romantic

At Farms all over Britain and now even in France and The Netherlands. What a fabulous idea.

My bags are packed and I'm off for holiday! This is totally a wonderful and unique way of camping! I'm totally on the first plane out of here! (Well, at least in my dreams!)

Thanks for sharing! Love the concept ...love the romance of it all.

"When you look up you see a sky full of stars and realise, at that moment, you are looking at the Milky Way. That is what the evenings on a Feather Down farm are like ..... nothing special ...... we had just forgotten about it."

... sounds gorgeous! Nice find Di!

I love that last picture of the camping house. Wow I think this is should be a house because I can't help to wonder how much work will you have to put to assemble it? Although it way worth it.

I'm not a camper since a disasterous summer away as a kid..
But this I could go for.

Do you think they could be convinced to set up an outlet over the pond here in Texas? This is definitely an improvement over anything I have seen the husband advocate.
