I only found out this morning that this very recognisable photograph - The Dress Lamp Tree - by Tim Walker was taken at Eglingham Hall which is not very far from where I live. Had I known he was around I would have invited him over for a coffee.

I bought his book then went on a pilgrimage to the Design Museum to see his exhibition. Both entirely wonderful, I've been trying to get the blog posts about the book and exhibition finished for ages, you have now spurred me on. The dress tree is so me and the picture of Lily Cole on the staircase is the one that first made me a fan of this man.
