Which of these to choose - I am torn here and just cannot make up my mind.
The bottom one is clean and bright and has lots to catch the eye and it's eclectic which I like. However the top one is mysterious and makes me want to go through that door to see just what is beyond. I also love flaking walls and old floorboards

Where is it exactly? Reminds me a bit of the staircase at Bistrot du Peintre in Paris.
Is there a deadline here with "the choice"....I love them both...which one is easier to clean....hehe

I would love to put my beautiful black grandpiano at the top of the stairs... it's such a large landing it could really house a small room!

No, no bottom one for me. Top one reminds me of my Great Grans. I always had nightmares when I stayed there
I like the bottom one. I think that the contrast between the modern background and the eclectic furniture creates a very dramatic feel.

I am trying to back track and find out where this image came from but I am pretty sure it is an architects house
i love them both. I love the idea of having somewhere to sit and read- so the bottom looks more light friendly!
