Years ago when I was a knitwear designer Helen Morris of The Stencil Library used to model for me. Now she is a world reknowned Stencil specialist. Not your usual stencils mind you these are amazing. She and her husband work out of a fabulous Georgian Farmhouse not far from me, creating the most stunning range of stencils. This image from Easy Living Magazine shows just what you can do with their work.
I often visit The Stencil Library shop and buy specialist paints and spend ages there just being spellbound by their work. She has also written a book about the decorating process they used in their Farmhouse.

that's just incredibly gorgeous! I've heard so much about stenciling, but I'm just too afraid that I'd mess up the wall instead. how could you keep them neatly aligned like that pic?
