Just Two Fabulous Sanctuaries

painted pavilions

Everybody needs a bit of Me Time and what better way to get it than having a little sanctuary in the garden. Shut the door and the rest of the world out.

I have one in my garden which is also a workshop and I love it.
No telephone, my Bose Radio/CD player and shelves full of books in case I just want to sit and read, who's to know?
Which is your ideal sanctuary. Do you know I think mine is the bottom one as no one can see in and I do love it's Gothic style.

Definately the first one for me. Being outside enjoying the fresh air, listening to the birds, and enjoying all the natural beauty. I had something similar to this until we had a terrible wind storm last year and it got destroyed. I can't wait to set up a new one this summer.

I like being near water, so the top one would be my choice.

I love big windows and natural light, I think I'll go for the first one. If only you can have the external beauty of the second and windows as the first combined? The top one in a secluded area where no one could look in would be nice.

As much as I love the first one (and I really do!), I'd have to pick the second one. For me, a sanctuary must be private above all else. The first one is lovely, but I'd feel too exposed.

Are we channeling each other? How did we both post our little back garden houses?! I love yours. Show us the inside, pleeeeease.

The only prob. with the first one - you know the saying "People in glass houses..."
(shouldn't walk around naked)
