The illustrations by Si Scott take me back to the days before desktop publishing. I have worked in the advertising industry for 20 years and I used to love to interview graphic artists. The thing to look for was a slick wrist, someone who could draw effortlessly in a slick manner was a joy to watch. Yes I can remember the cut and paste days and we had a fantastic collection of visuals done in pencil and markers. Still you can't turn the clocks back but I do miss those sort of graphic artists so it's fantastic to see Si Scotts fabulous, intricate slick wristed illustrations.
