Yesterday I went to visit the workshop of the person who is working with me on my new venture. She is a local artisan and fine artist and when I say fine artist I mean fine. She is amazing. She and her brother, another artisan of equal talent, are going to be working with me to turn vintage furniture and accessory finds into something really special.
The icing on the cake was that when I have to go to the workshop I will be traveling through one of the most beautiful places in England. The village she lives in is part of an estate and is idyllic.
Incidentally the Queen Mother's cousin lives in the village which contains only a handful of houses.
