Alnwick Castle the home of Harry Potter is not far from my house. Since the current Duke and Duchess of Northumberland have taken over ownership, they have made a huge difference not only to the castle and grounds but to the area. This couple really know how to run a stately home. They do after all own Syon House (their London Home). Syon House has been used for many years as a location for adverts, plays and films.
If any of you are ever in England and are thinking of heading to Scotland don't forget us on the way, Northumberland is a fabulous county, ask Harry Potter he'll tell you.
