Please visit this website and see what the Marais district in Paris is really like. I promise you won't regret it. I call it the real Paris because it is where all the city's history is. The old buildings are full of character and atmosphere. The cafes, restaurants and shops are like nothing you will have seen before.
Every time I visit the area, which is often as my youngest daughter lives just outside Paris, I come back full of inspiration. Forget the Champs-Elysees head for the 3rd and 4th arrondissements.
