This picture was taken yesterday afternoon in my local pub or as you Americans would say - neighborhood bar.
I love Saturdays as my partner and I wake up in our weekend cottage in Northumberland and we go shopping for local produce. On the way back to the cottage we always stop at our local pub which has a long table which not only the locals but vistors sit at and put the world to rights, gossip, give advice, laugh, sing and have a great time.
- It is called The Hollybush and is hundreds of years old. In Winter there is always a roaring log fire. Ahhh Bliss!
