I use my fireplace at home as a display area for all those things I have picked up and loved over the years. Some are family heirlooms such as the parion bust on the mantelpiece and the white jug on the floor.
I love black and white displayed together and this idea has the added advantage of enabling me to sit and look at them at one time instead of dotting them all over the house.
