Never Waste a Sunny Day

When you live in Northumberland you make the most of any sunny day that comes your way, reason being there aren't many.

A couple of weeks ago we headed out to the other side of Nortumberland. On the way we stopped at a cafe situated in a fabulous walled garden. Not only was the coffee superb but so was the garden.

 Behind a huge wall the lawn and borders continued

it seemed to go on forever

 At one end you were led to some steps that led into a small wooded area

 with fabulous blue hydrangea dotted among the trees and

inside - there be dragons
a walled garden in northumberland
and the most amazing coloured rhubarb. Worth every mile driven I would say.
