I never mastered the art of corchet even though I was a knitwear designer for many years. Had I seen these I may have tried. Shauna Richardson creates taxidermy that doesn't make you cringe in fact it makes you smile. Love how she calls it Crochetdermy.

Knitting In Spanish
I came across this Spanish blog yesterday and couldn't wait to share it with you. It has a translator so there's no need to be puzzled. The most amazing items created by knitting and crochet. I was a knitwear designer back in the 1980s so I know a good knit when I see it. I will just leave you to browse and then you can go and visit the site and be blown away in the same direction as I was.

& Made

There are a lot of quirky knitted items around but not many are as neatly made as these. From & Made love that curly Christmas pudding, I have an Armani coat just like that.

That Japanese Attention To Detail

Jung Jung creates these amazingly detailed pieces and turns them into jewellery amongst other things. The method is called Closh Knitting. Only the Japanese do detailed work so well.

A Clever Use of Yarn
I think this is so clever and I would imagine very addictive if you have enough of these Eames Wire Chairs. Found at Flickr

Knits For Kids at Luna and Curious

How cute are these knits? All available at Luna and Curious online. I love the Busby Hat and Guards Uniform. It's hard to believe they are all knitted even the Gun Holster.

After and Before

I can't believe that it was over 2 years ago that I visited and blogged about the Alpaca Farm near my cottage and bought some yarn. Well today I finished the first little knitted outfit made from the alpaca yarn I bought way back then, for my new granddaughter that's due in March. Cute eh? I was a knitwear designer back in the 80s, nice to discover I haven't lost the skills.

Crazy Kids Hats

In a former life I was a knitwear designer and lately I have been tempted to use those skills again. I have ideas to use these skills in my Ghost Furniture range but first I thought I would knit some clothes for my soon to be born granddaughter. Whilst searching the internet for inspiration I came across these fabulous hats for sale on Etsy by Sweetpeatoadtots. I mean, how cute are these?

Little Knitted and Felted Things

How cute are these? Tiny figures knitted and felted. Take a look at the detailing. By Yoo Moo I think, it's all Japanese to me.
