Want to come to a Party?
Come in to TShirt Patisserie
Meet the hostess with the mostest - Angel Adoree
Isn't that one hell of a name? This is one hell of an innovative woman who hosted a big launch party last week and I was invited. Let me tell you this was the most amazing experience.
TShirt Patisserie's Pick-Up Point at Luna & Curious
The party was held at Luna & Curious in Brick Lane in the East End of London. More about Luna & Curious tomorrow (it will blow your mind).
Garlands of TShirt Patisserie's Ballotins fill the windows
Your personalised TShirt (you design it, be as creative as you like and it all happens on screen) comes in one of these cake boxes or as Angel calls them Ballotins but it doesn't stop there.
The whole package
Your TShirt in it's ribboned box/ballotin comes in another beautiful heavy, chocolate brown, embossed box lined in gold tissue, containing a little TShirt Cookie in a ribbon tied bag and a Pen. I mean come on where did you ever buy a TShirt like that before.
Mugs of all sizes, Chocolate Squares or Hearts and Apparel for all ages - all personalised by YOU
I can confidently say that this all works. I bought a stack of gifts here at Christmas and wanted to tell you about it before but Angel persuaded me to wait until the new website was launched.
This is a woman who gets things done. She promises that by Christmas you will be able to download you own images to be put on the Apparel and I believe her. That function is already working on the Chocolates and the Mugs and what about this - CUPCAKES with your own images on, can already be picked up at the shop but Angel is perfecting a way of making them fit to post out.
Cupcakes in Laduree type colours (my camera refused to reproduce the colours well)
I dare not even start to tell you how delicious these were or I may drool all over my keyboard. Look, your image goes on the disc of rice paper sitting on top.
I think it's time to Party don't you?
My vintage teacup/saucer and ballotin of chocolate hearts
On entering we were each given a brightly coloured bag containing our own vintage teacup and saucer (to keep), some beautifully packaged chocolate hearts and other goodies to numerous to list. The teacup was regularly filled with Gin Infused Tea from vintage teapots. How cool is that?
Tea trolleys to serve guests on a warm evening in Brick Lane
Polly George, who I am sure you will all have heard of, is co-owner of Luna & Curious and her gorgeous Butterfly Cake Stands (which I used to sell on wheredidyoubuythat.com) were used to serve those to die for cupcakes.
The friendly waitresses
What I enjoyed so much was that everyone was so friendly from the String Quartet, the Singer, the DJ and the lovely French Waitresses.
Angel, Moi and the Singer (I was melting it was so hot)
I ate cupcakes, I mingled, I laughed, I met tons of the most amazing and innovative people ever and was sure not to drink too much of that Gin Infused Tea 'cos I had to get back to Central London.
Pay a visit yourself to TShirt Patisserie and see how welcoming it is. Every day is a party.
STAY TUNED
Tomorrow I will be featuring the MOST innovative and delicious shop -Luna & Curious - Oh yes BE CURIOUS!
