She Did It - How Could She Not?

georgia overton music means life
On Thursday evening Georgia my grand daughter sang her version of Bridge Over Troubled Water in a talent contest and got through to the finals. She absolutely blew away the audience and the judges, so much so that she got on to the front page of the newspaper.
The competition - Music Means Life - has been organised to raise £1M towards creating a teenage cancer ward in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle via the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The final is on 24th April and if she wins she gets to record an album and sing with Roger Daltry from The Who. Of course she asked me who on earth Roger Daltry was and thank God she had heard of Pinball Wizard.

Great good news, I'm really happy to hear this, I'll keep my fingers crossed but she probably doesn't need that, her own capacities will make her win!

Congrats Georgia, that's fabulous news and well deserved for all the hard work. Good luck for the finals.
