For years now I have been put off visiting Milan as people always refer to it as an industrialised city that's not very interesting apart from the shops. WELL let me say they were wrong. OK so it's full of Fashion Stores, furniture is a rarity, but the Architecture is stunning.
Almost every corner we walked around had an architectural surprise. Take a look at these images for an idea of its beauty.
The Cathedral is pure white with mind boggling detail everywhere. It's like a giant wedding cake.
This was the entrance to the Railway Station still decorated for Christmas. Just look at that Winged Horse.
A typical Apartment Block in the city.
I have no idea what this was apart from looking like an enormous Fort. No signs or clues at all.

I'm trying this again!!
Welcome Home!! We missed you, but KNEW you would bring back the visual "goods" with you! The photos of the architecture and sky are pristine and beautiful. Can't wait to see what else you have below.
I would really love to go their someday. How fun to NOT have to cross the Atlantic ocean to visit such places. k
I have a friend from Milan who moved to Paris, as she considers Milan "dull." But don't we always look at our hometown like that? Sounds like you had a fabulous trip. xo
