A Tampon Ghost - How Cute

a tampon ghost
Well here I am, maybe the only Brit going to the party. I'm not sure. I'm taking some decorations, do you like them? Little Ghosts made from tampons would you believe? Who would of thought something so cute could come from something so mundane.
If you want to know how to make many more things from tampons then go here and see.
my halloween party plan
This is my party plan - an altogether elegant affair I think. My make up artist is a gem and what would a Halloween party be without Black Laduree Macarons. See how my broomstick is made from feathers as I am so sensitive.
the bloglandia ball
I'm off to The Bloglandia Ball now - do you want to come? You must because I hate scary parties and I need a hand to hold. There are going to be some really weird people there so it will be an experience if nothing else. Ready?

Just Lovely Photographs

robert klein gallery
I just love these photographs and there's a few more here but then the photographer has gone and done some really boring ones of Stonehenge - I have never understood the fascination with Stonehenge it's really boring, I've been so I know.

When an Envelope Just Won't Do

curlicue garden box
Sometimes when you give a gift of a voucher or maybe a theatre ticket it's seems not enough to just stick it in an envelope. This idea from Curlicue is brilliant. These gorgeous boxes will give those vouchers a bit more pazazz. The outsides of the boxes are just as beautiful and there are plenty themes to choose from.
This is the sort of thing you think you could do yourself until you try and it just looks like a dog's dinner.

Little Boots - Ah Bless

mololes boots little fashion gallery
Can you imagine a little pair of chubby legs inside these tiny boots? These come in other colours from the fantastic Mololes range available at Little Fashion Gallery - they've gone and done it again.
Look at the lovely bag they come in.

Peruvian Connection In The UK

peruvian connection jumper
This site is well worth a visit. Choc full of Peruvian goodies to wear and for the home. What I love most is that lots of their fashion items are made from Alpaca - my all time favourite fabric. Obviously not the bowl in the bottom picture.

This Would Teach Them

gun mugs shop modi
One of my pet hates is BAD coffee. Some people just haven't got a clue when it comes to making coffee so these mugs would be just the thing - I could shoot them! From Shop Modi

CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO SEE IT PROPERLY
Look the website is ready to have the shopping trolley added. We finished the photography today and the home page, at last, has its image. This is a table called Still Life which I have decorated to look like a Still Life Painting. The fruit in the bowl is from an old French charcuterie and do you recognise the little bowl with the pigeons sitting on the side? The roses in the vase are everlasting and each one looks and feels soft just as if they were still fresh (found in Paris, where else). All the items are fixed to the table - a sort of 3D Still Life.

Anyway I digress. The shopping trolley will be added this weekend and the site will GO LIVE next week. The thing that amazes me most is that it already ranks at 762,864 (you can see it on this screen grab) and it isn't even launched yet. This is because of the amount of hits the holding page has gotten from this blog and Harvey's amazing skills at optimising the site for the search engines.

I would love your comments please. I will listen, I promise.

Colouring In For Grown Ups From Mirror Mirror

creative interiors colouring pad
I LOVE colouring in. OK so I may be a bit old for it but it's so satisfying filling in spaces with bright colours. If you too love to colour in and enjoy a bit of interior design then go to Mirror Mirror and get yourself one of these Creative Interiors Colouring Books. My daughter Charlotte has inherited my love for it so this will be on her Christmas List I'm sure.

Bouf - Unique Pieces

champagne glasses at bouf
There are some interesting and unique pieces over at Bouf. The chanpagne glasses each have a lip to pour into the next glass - beats those awful towers.

I love the ring that fits all sizes, the side drinking wine glass with the matching nut bowl and that lovely felt item is to hold a laptop which opens out to use as a mousepad and deskmat.

Zoom In On Paris Courtesy of Le Claireur

Le Claireur paris
I'm a great fan of Google Earth and Le Claireuer is one of my favourite Paris shops but what I am not a great fan of is websites that have flashy opening pages - once seen it gets boring, everytime you visit you have to look at the same thing before you get to the proper pages.
NOT in the case of Le Claireuer's website. It zooms in like Google Earth on its shops in Paris - I love that feeling of flying into a website.
Their shops are Wonderful - yes with a capital W. They sell Fornasetti so that alone is good enough for me but their clothes and everything else they stock is just stunning. If you are visiting Paris then you must go to Le Claireuer if you can't afford a visit then just vist the website and pretend you're there.
