Shopping In The Suburbs
You don't have to go into the centre of Paris to find good things. These pictures were taken in Chatou - the tiny island on the Seine where the famous Ham Fair is held. Even the car parks hold stylish statements such as this vintage car.
The market was on the day we went to pick up large items of furniture from the fair and the food stalls were everything you would expect from a French market. The displays, both on the market stalls and in the shop windows, were as always - works of art.

Ah, you are right! I was there again yesterday morning while their local market was underway - definitely spoilt for choice here. xo
I grew up right next to Chatou. This brings back really great memories. (of food mostlly)
