Azzedine Alaia in The Marais, Paris

I love everything about this designer - Azzedine Alaia, his clothes, his interior products, his fabulous shop in the Marias in Paris and mostly the man himself. He is one of those clever designers that doesn't have to be fawned upon.
Having worked in the design business for more years than I care to admit to I have come across some real horrors. Not to say they aren't talented but they are so far up their own backsides they are blind to the feelings of anyone that dares to come near them. Some of them even have minders with them, how pretentious is that?
