This beautiful film - Irish Folk Furniture just won an award for the best short animation at the Sundance Film Festival. It perfectly tells the story of restoring and painting old furniture. Set in Ireland with voice overs by locals it tells why people like me
do this sort of thing. You must see it if only for the amazing landscape.

Painted furniture looks great. Browse charity shops for a bargain and paint away and you have a great looking piece of furniture.
