Things You Just Didn't Know You Needed

I have a little mission every few months where I visit Suck UK and take a look at their new designs. I am never disappointed. This time I found a bathroom mirror with it's own windscreen wiper and a pencil sharpener you keep your pens in.

I found this little dress at From Marissa V which is based in San Fransisco. I love the fact that it's tough and feminine all at the same time and the fact that it can worn all year round - on it's own in the summer and with a jumper under in the winter. More kids designers should do this.

Frieda Maria - It's All Dutch To Me

Frieda Maria is based in Rotterdam and that's about all I know. I have put some of the copy from their website into Babelfish but it makes no more sense in English than it does in Dutch. Whatever they do it's good according to the fabulous images that are on their site. Take a look and come back to me if you understand it or if you are Dutch. Thanks.

Work In Progress

It's a good job we extended our cottage as I am surrounded by pieces of Ghost Furniture that I am in the process of making. I keep promising myself to only work on one thing at a time but when the ideas flow I just have to do it. Watch this space for the finished versions.

Biba at Top Shop

I have a thing about over sized graphics, I love them and wasn't disappointed when I saw that the new collection by Barbara Hulanicki (she of Biba) for Top Shop contained these fabulous pieces.
Whenever I walk through Top Shop the fashions always remind me of Biba of the 60s - yes I am old enough to remember that. Don't you just love her fashion illustrations?
