Paris - Be Still My Aching Feet

paris exposition 1900
In a minute I am going to get ready to spend a day in Paris with friends who have never visited before. This means a lot of walking. I bought new boots that fit like gloves though they have tassles on the back which means I slap myself with them whilst walking - vanity thy name is woman. I will report back tomorrow with my discoveries and tales.
Image found at Flickr - Taken at the Paris Exposition 1900. That's what Iove about this city - it hasn't changed in all those years.

I bought a pair of boots like that from Russell and Bromley last year. At first it felt really odd, and I was a bit embarrassed when people stared at me effectively whipping myself around London, but now I'm used to it and I wear them all the time!
Good luck with the sightseeing
