I can't believe I was considering reupholstering this mid 19th Louis XV style canopy chair with its original jute intact...I love seeing things as if plucked from someone's attic or a French flea market. Saved me beaucoup bucks also. Thanks for the link. And yes...I think the etched fashion plate lady's knickers are riding up...good call. Trish

Gorgeous !! My dad reupholsterer almost everything as it is his job but you are right it is gorgeous just like that !!!
