The Home of Tine Kjeldsen of Tine K Home
Just goes to show that you don't always need colour to make things beautiful. This is the home of Tine Kjeldsen of Tine K Home in Denmark.
Gorgeous glossy black floor boards,
wood and metal accessories
and I was thrilled to see her inspiration came from the ashes of her fire. I was inspired to decorate our guest bedroom in black, white and grey after looking at the ashes in our wood burning stove.
White, white and some black,
long benches instead of dining chairs,
white floors and furniture
and grey, black and white dinnerware. How fabulous is this house then?

Beautiful post, Di!
I'd say they have achieved the perfect mix of old/new - shiny/rusted - black/white.
The black floor really anchors the entire look. Always wanted one - -
but they show every bit of dust tracked in.
i liked the sheer simplicity reflected from the house !
Glossy black is the most glamorous colour I can imagine for floor boards. I'm not sure I'd dare to use it in a Norwegian home though, it's so dark in winter here, but it looks wonderful in pictures. And this house looks like it's got an abundance of light. Yum.
Very fabulous! Thanks for the link.
The floor boards are to die for!
