I came across this French Estate Agency website the other day and could have leaped right in. This is one of my favourite properties. I know I always tell people to look up for inspiration but in the case of the French, look down because they have the most amazing floors.

The first picture reminds me a parisian flat in the Quartier Latin and I asked for a while if it was not the same.It was really fantastic, to discover a "country(chic) atmosphere" in the heart of Paris

Lovely. Funny you mention the French and their floors - my French colleague wrote a recent blog post wondering why the English were so obsessed with carpets!
Lovely floors! Though I'm too much of a clutz, I'd be tripping everytime I'd walk across them!
