Outside My Cottage Door

old railway cottage northumberland national park
An old railway cottage with the gates still in superb condition. Alas the lines are all closed now.

Yesterday the weather was fabulous and we went for a drive. I just wanted to share that drive with you and show you just what is outside my cottage door. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Believe it or not these are Exmoor Wild Ponies, what they are doing in Northumberland is anyone's guess

The cottage in the picture reminds me of the one in the movie "The Holiday" with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black and Kate Winslet....I just love it!

So lovely! I told D we need to come back and visit to see the changes in your cottage. And of course we have to make sure RE is open! :) xoxox

So lovely, I almost feel like I'm there. And how great that you didn't have the heat wave that we've had here. Enough to wilt the heartiest gardner!
