My Boy Is 40

My son, Garry, was 40 yesterday and on Saturday we had a surprise party for him. I was going to show pictures of his Medieval Bash but that will have to wait until someone sends me them.
I dressed the Village Hall to look like a Medieval Hall and all the guests were in full Medieval costume. I was Anne Boylen and he was Henry VIII which meant we were man and wife for the evening - how weird is that? Glad to say I kept my head.

Like mother like son when it comes to holding his drink :-) although you probably prefer a glass of French wine

Oh Di - you are so clever and imaginative! It must have been a fantastic party! (But I can't believe he's 40. How is that even possible, with such a young mother?) :) xoxox
