The Ice Isn't Melting Here

polar bear on the thames
Apparently this sailed down the Thames last week to launch a new TV channel which I think was National Geo.
I am snowed in at the moment because the UK has been hit by the worst snow I can remember. Charlotte our daughter can't get back to her home in Paris and I can't get to the Post Office to send of my Ghost Furniture orders. I have enough milk for 2 days coffee then I will go cold turkey.

According to the radio, it's the biggest snowfall for eighteen years.
Every one here at the Stencil Library has just had hot chocolate with cardomon and chilli. The sun is setting and the fields around our office are glowing pink. Bliss.

We even have Proper Snow in Birmingham - unheard of!!

Polar bear was for the new Eden channel. Fab!

Hope you're able to ship some milk in soon...

I find it astonishing how everything grinds to a halt when it snows in England. You'd think they'd be used to it by now, especially in your neck of the woods! Hope Charlotte manages to get home - no fun being stuck at an airport. As for you, hope you're able to get some fresh milk - buy some longlife for occasions like this. :) It snowed here too, but began melting by afternoon. Stay warm! xo

Everyone is talking about it. Take a lot of pictures! Don't you have cows in your neighborhood? You might get some milk out of them if you can catch them.

Isn't it a little silly how little Britain is prepared for a bit of snow? Hope everything warms up for you soon.
