Keep Calm and Carry On - Well We Have No Option Do We?

keep calm and carry on
I wonder if when Mark, of the famous London company Keep Calm and Carry On, thought to market this range of goods he realised that the slogan from the 1930s would be so relevant today.
This crappy credit crunch is really pissing me off. In the UK the government is borrowing money hand over fist and giving it to the banks to bail them out, they have cut the interest rates and most of the banks aren't even passing it on. Due to de-regulation we have no laws to tell these banks to pass it on. It's a huge mess and all created by the people who used to tell me how to run my business.
Never mind Di - just Keep Calm and Carry On

There are only two of the original Keep Calm posters left - most were pulped after the war because they were never issued but were kept for really dire times (!!) such as an invasion - the two are in the Imperial War Museum and at Barter Books... and Barter Books have their own mugs, T-shirts, T-towels etc. so you can buy them in Northumberland rather than London! After all, it was at Barter Books that the poster was found 'within a pile of dusty old books bought from an auction.'
