Whilst browsing around
Paris Apartment's blog yesterday I was led to this company -
Fleur d'Andeol and it is one of the best designed websites I have come across. Massive close up images of the most amazing French fabrics. If like me you need a fabric fix every now and again then off you go.

I have bought several sheets, and have had a pillowcase, as well as two duvet covers made at Fleur d"Andeol. Being a fundamentally sceptical, even jaundiced ex-journalist and picky consumer, I cheerfully confess I was VERY impressed, and remain delighted, not only with Robin Molbert's superb customer service (as a person, I find her exceptionally nice and smart and elegant and warm and sensitive), but with her linen! Superb quality of both fabric and craft!
Cannot recommend her highly enough.
Truly. Vraiment.

Over the course of the past 2 years since I discovered Fleur d'Andeol, I have purchased +$10,000 worth of antique linen sheets, shams and tablecloth/napkin sets. They are incredibly stunning pieces that Robin and Francois have the knack for obtaining, listing and selling to an appreciative clientele. Both owners make a fabulous team and are experts in the field of antique French linen, including its history, embroidery style and lace design. If you have a question about a particular piece, they are very responsive in educating you. If you are looking for something specific and can't find it, Robin will make every effort to seek it for you. Shopping at Fleur d'Andeol is a dreamcatching experience!
Simply stunning in every way...
