Welcome To My Birthday Party

a birthday party in northumberland
Welcome to my Birthday Party. There's lots to eat and drink and the weather is beautiful.
a birthday party in northumberland
Today I have reached the grand old age of 57 but as they say - 50 is the new 30 - so that makes me about 34 so that's OK.
The cottage is not fit for a party today as the builders are crawling all over the place, so I have chosen an idyllic but quirky venue down by the river.

This is a sheep fold for humans.

Take a seat. These seats are made from local stone so they are a bit hard but do not fret I have come up with a cunning plan.

Each one of you can have a gorgeous Macaron Cushion to sit upon. What could be nicer?

Time to crack open the champagne methinks. Pink champagne in Baccarat crystal glasses and lots of fresh fruit.

Take in the views over the river.

I even had a tiny meadow planted on an island just for you.

I can't let you leave empty handed so go and grab one of those Fortuny Pouches as a momento before you go.

Thanks so much for coming I hope you enjoyed it as much as I have. Please shut the gate on the way out in case the sheep get in.

HEY, I'm 34 as well, by way of 57. Nice to know there are more of us out there in blogland.

I love this place. The mirrors on the ceiling, the printed items, the great birthday bash.

Perfect.

Grattis på födelsedagen!!! That's a Swedish congrat to a lovely and witty lady. I would bring you some typical Swedish dish: saffranspannkaka, not really a pankake but deliscous, golden of saffron with boysen berries, and whipped cream for those who like that. And I really would like to take a peak in your cottage. Thanks for invitation!!

Happy Birthday.

Oh gosh, late as USUAL.

You don't look a day over 34, so somebody clearly made a terrible mistake with your birth certificate.

Knowing your penchant for shoes, I've bought you a nice little blue pair...
