Our Cottage Extension - Progress Report
Today was the first day for 4 days that it hasn't rained. Our garden was a swamp up until this morning. The builders turned up, drained the site and started building the inside skin of the walls. Note the massive pile of stones which are to be cut for the outer walls.
Peter, our neighbour who dug out the site has plonked his digger on top of the massive pile of earth that he has yet to move to a neighbouring farm.
We have, in 1 week, managed to change the landscape of our tiny hamlet. Messy isn't it?

Very exciting!! It's going to be a wonderful room/s!
Looks like a lot of work!
(that was the feeling I had when I started internal renovations), hope everything take shape smoothly.
