Paper Cuts - How On Earth.....

paper cuts by Aoyam Hina
Well I just can't work this out. How on earth can you cut paper like this. It is absolutely mind blowing. Go and see some more from Aoyam Hina on this Flickr Slide Show and then go and visit her website. Oh and by the way she is from Japan but currently lives and works in Ferney Volaire, France. I am totally in awe.

Found you on BlogLog through Maryam. Wow, I agree, that is nuts! Is she nearsighted? Anyways, beautifully done. It looks extremely delicate too.

Wasn't sure what you ment till I saw the photo with her hand! Truly the most delicate paper cutting I've seen yet! What a fabulous link. I thought it interesting to see how 'different' her illustration work is from her cutouts! She must be using vintage images as inspiration for her cutouts... Regardless, her skill is amazing!

Amazing! Are they done by hand or laser cut? My French is a bit poor...

This can only be done with a laser - BUT one has to program that laser...
