Forgive me for I am British but the name ABC Carpet & Home doesn't really make me think of a shop that is so outstanding. We used to have Army & Navy Stores that were superb and never sold a piece of military wear.
I have seen ABC Carpet & Home mentioned so many times but never bothered to look until they sent me an email this morning. So I was wrong - string me up!

Di, If you are in New York near Christmas time take a look at their window displays and the whole of the ground floor sells the most exquisite festive glitz. You know how I like a bit of sparkle! Excellent deli too.
