Daylight in Painting

art by jennifer harrison
Take a close look at these paintings by Jennifer Harrison. See how by using raised paint effects and clever shadows she has created daylight in her work. It looks for all the world that they have been photographed in bright sunlight. Clever!

Thanks so very much for sharing my work on your blog, but I wanted to let everyone know those are real shadows in the pictures!! I really do take the photos in bright sunlight; my paintings are very thickly textured and I want people to get a sense of that texture when looking at the work online.

I hope that doesn't spoil it for anyone!

Great site, and thanks again for the plug,

Jennifer Harrison
