Do you love old buttons. I love old buttons. When I was a kid I used to get out my mother's button box and play with it for hours. I found this site the other day - Nichols Buttons choc full of old buttons and I love the way they separate them into seasons.

Wow, what wonderful buttons! I use to do the same thing when I was younger. My mother had jars of buttons and it was so much fun looking at them. Thanks for the link to the site.
I seriously covet old buttons and have lots from my late grandmother, who was a seamstress extraordinaire! Alas, her buttons were mostly utilitarian, but they hold sentimental value for me.
I have a lot of old buttons but I love the way they put them together with each season ..lovely
