The view from my window today - I just wanted to share this with all of you.

The fabulous Christmas Tree in The Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Please read the meaning of it below. I have placed the words in a big mirror so we can all take good look at ourselves.

Now you have read it let me just say that The Little Match Girl was my favourite book when I was a child. Every Christmas without fail I would read that book and cry for the little girl that was better off dead than alive.

At this time of year it takes only a moment to remember those less fortunate people all around the world. Keeping those people in our thoughts may put us on a course, in the New Year, that enables us to help them with words and actions.

This is not a religious thought, it's a human thought.

Dear Di,
Thank you for a beautiful post and reminder to think of others. Each person has their own special story and that includes hardships. Even people who seem to have it all sometimes suffer greatly within. You and I are so lucky and blessed to have all that we do. We are in the minority on earth.
I will reread the Little Match girl. I don't remember it. Even if it makes me cry.
