My Sort of Little Black Dress

There is no better way to spend your money than on a Little Black Dress. It doesn't have to be little but it needs to be versatile. All my black dresses can be dressed up or down depending on my mood or the occasion.
This is a selection that I put together yesterday and today I have had to lock up my credit card.

Now These Are Different

I love to see a bit of imagination used by designers of furniture and accessories. These people at Comunistar are on a par with 5.5 Designers
By the way the bottom one is a salt cellar.

I could think of a few coffee shops that could do with some coffee cups like these. Love the black set!

More Than Keep Calm

Those Keep Calm posters seem to be all over the blogs these days but the company does much more than that one poster.
I was born 6 years after the end of World War II and I can remember my grandparents having all sorts of posters like these hidden away in drawers. I just wish I had asked if I could keep them.

Hermes Tissues?

Wouldn't it be great if you could buy a box full of Hermes scarves and pull them out like tissues? I designed this box over at the Kleenex site. I couldn't buy one as they only ship in the USA but it's a great idea as a different Christmas gift.

20ltd - Limited Editions

20ltd is a wonderful site full of limited editions. I chose these (didn't buy them just chose them).
The bottom one is a ring - hard to believe Solange could get all that detail onto it.
The dogs are just very cute from Agnetha Sjogren.
The jacket is actually called an Anorak (trainspotters atire). From Derek Lam
The image is of two embroidered laptop sleeves. Wouldn't my new laptop look good in one of those?

Christmas @ Not On The High Street

Here in the UK we have a website called Not On The High Street which is actually a virtual high street but all the shops are very unusual. I shopped at a few of their shops the day before yesterday and received the items today. How's that for service?
