Here's One I Made Much Earlier
A DIZZY'S ORIGINAL FROM 1983.
I have mentioned before that I used to be a knitwear designer back in the 1980s. My company was called Dizzy's.
My daughter-in-law asked me to knit a cardigan for little Marcie's (my granddaughter) christening and I haven't knitted for years due to a repetative stress injury from my days as a knitter but I thought - it's only little so it can't do much harm.
However I was really nervous as to whether I could remember how to do it (design and knit at the same time). Well let me tell you it's like riding a bike - you never forget.

You did that yourself? That is the sweetest most beautiful sweater! What a talent you are!
You did good back then and NOW!!!
I can only knit very long narrow useless things and only with soomeone holding a whip.
I did design knitware in the '80s too but just lines on paper..
The pink jacket is adorable :)
so adorable. I love to knit although I am NOT a good knitter. great therapy though. k
Is there no end to your talents??
Oh you are clever!
I LOVE to knit, but can only follow a pattern. That little jacket is too cute. I'd definitely buy the pattern.
You are amazingly talented, I love this cardigan it's adorable! (wish I could knit properly)
What an adorable and scrumptious little ruffled sweater! The dress is beautiful too!
The cardi looks lovely, hope it didn't cause you pain to knit it.
Di, it's gorgeous (the baby one and your previous design)! What a lucky grandchild! xo
Love the baby's cardigan! Adorable!
