Little Bits of Me - Part 3
2 FAVOURITE PICTURES AND A PIECE OF RELIEF WORK.
THE TOP PICTURE CONSISTS OF THREE PIANO KEYS HAND PAINTED WITH TINY TUSCAN SCENES - BOUGHT IN CAPRI.
THE BOTTOM PICTURE IS A COLOURED PENCIL DRAWING OF A LITTLE GIRL CALLED ULA DONE IN 1912. MY SON OBTAINED IT FROM A HOUSE CLEARANCE.
THE RELIEF WORK WAS PURCHASED FROM A RECLAIMATION YARD AND I REPAINTED THE FRAME.
Some more little bits of me that I love to live with.
AN OLD WINDOW SHUTTER BOUGHT IN A FLEA MARKET IN NICE, SOUTHERN FRANCE. IT IS SO TACTILE I LOVE TO JUST STROKE IT.
A 1930S CIGARETTE LIGHTER. VERY PRIMITIVE AS YOU FILL IT WITH PETROL AND PULL OUT A PLUNGER WITH A WICK ON THE END AND IT SPARKS AND LIGHTS. TERRIFYING ACTUALLY.

I love your shutter and the cigarette lighter - so Erte!
There are bits of me on my blog today too.
These are just gorgeous! The wood from that shutter does demand to be stroked.
I love everything!
The cigarette lighter is great it looks like a chiparus statue . We call this kind of statue in French : chryselephantine because of the mix of metal and ivory , how do you call it in english.
