This is my all time hero. Tim Berners Lee is the man who invented The World Wide Web. I was reminded of just how amazing this man is in a BBC programme shown last night here in the UK. Andrew Marr was doing a modern history of Britain and featured Time Berners Lee. Did you know that he gave the World Wide Web to humanity free of charge? He could have been the richest man in the world but instead he gave it away to us - humanity.
Think what the world would be like without the Web, it's unimaginable now we have it.
I have made so many friends, from all over the world from my blog alone, it's an amazing source of knowledge and has given the people a voice that they never had before.
I am so proud to say that I shared my Top 100 Internet Entrapraneurs of The Decade Award with this man and I really do believe my contribution to the web was nothing compared to his.
I think we should all be eternally thankful to Tim Berners Lee for his foresight and genourosity and if the world had more people like him in it it would be a much better place.

Yes, he is a hero and deserves every kudo possible.
And now we're addicted :) but without it we will not have all this information at the touch of a few buttons.
