A Model Village
My son and his family live in a delightful model village near the Northumberland Coast. Not that it's got tiny houses, model villages where built by the aristocracy for their workers and delightful places they are. The Duke of Northumberland built this one. We visited on Sunday and took a stroll around. The Old Vicarage is very grand but no longer owned by the church and the wooden shelter houses the village pump.
The two donkeys belong to my grandson - Sonny. They are called Archie and Spencer after the Balamory characters.

What a lovely place-the kind of place I'd love to live-so much history!
Lovely.....my brother and his family lived for 5 years in the English countryside...I SO enjoyed visiting.....they are moving back there in the near future...cant wait....love the narrow lanes, the moss on the roofs of the houses...and the stunning green....
